・The character for "食" ("Shoku", its meaning is "Eating or Food") is written to "make people better" (of the Chinese Character). At Atelier Chou-Chou, we only serve food that makes people better. This means organic ingredients and cooking methods that do not rely on additives.

・The owner, who has been interested in food since he started cooking for his family at a young age, started working part-time at a French restaurant in Sakura, Setagaya Ward, where he currently operates. The interaction with the customers who warmly welcomed and nurtured him, who had no idea what he was doing at first, became his original experience, and he started his career in food in earnest. After studying at various restaurants, he returned to his hometown of Sakura in Setagaya Ward. With gratitude to the local people, he offers his hospitality with the sole intention of making them enjoy his cuisine.

・When the owner heard that one of the children in a group of mothers who were regular customers asked her to put batteries in their goldfish when it went out, he decided to hold a cooking class for children once a year. After a lecture on food allergies and gratitude for the lives of animals, fish, and vegetables, he talks with the participants' children, decides on a dish, buys the ingredients, prepares them in a professional kitchen, and serves dishes to the parents. Sometimes they plan to have the children experience what it is like to have food delivered to the table by handling chicken feathers or cleaning fish. There are many stories about the warm interaction between the owner and the children, such as the one where a child who participated in the lesson cooked a meal for his father who was unable to attend the lesson, and later cooked the meal with his mother, or the one that a child participated in the event encouraged their families to come and eat with the word "Let's eating out at Chou-Chou!" etc. There are many warm episodes of interaction between the owner and the children.
・Atelier Chou Chou is a restaurant that understands food allergies, and even before they agreed to be included in Food Allergy Japan's SmileMenu, they ran a cooking class for children and gave lectures on food allergies. This is a restaurant that understands food allergies. The dishes listed in the SmileMenu are standard course dishes and also available a la carte.
