・We are a Japanese Yakiniku barbecue restaurant in town, focusing on wagyu hormones and pork hormones that we buy from one source.

・The owner visited a Yakiniku BBQ restaurant with his family when he was a child, and based on his original experience of the fun, delicious, and happy time he had at the restaurant, he aims to create a Yakiniku BBQ restaurant that families can visit together. The restaurant is loved by local customers in Setagaya.
・The owner believes that if the price per person is too high, people may hesitate to come with their families, so he wants to offer good meat at a reasonable price that people can easily afford. Tsubo Horumon san buys its hormone from a single cow or pig, which allows it to offer good products at low prices. While focusing on hormone, the restaurant also offers a wide selection of meats so that everyone in the family can eat what they want.
・Although the number of customers who reported food allergies was very small, they were wondering if there was anything they could do about food allergies, which are common among children, while operating as a restaurant that welcomes families. When the restaurant came across SmileMenu run by Food Allergy Association of Japan, they agreed with its values. The idea was not to ask restaurants to accommodate food allergies, but to work together to find out what could be done with the current situation. We asked them to start looking for ways to help customers who cannot cross the threshold of a restaurant because of food allergies.
・As of April 2021, we asked them to disclose the allergens they use for the meat "Momi-dare" (marinated sauce) and "Tsuke-dare" (dipping sauce) and for some dishes. They would like to communicate with customers and go through a process of trial and error.
・In the process of kneading the sauce into the hormones and meat, the sauce may splatter and contaminate other seasoning ingredients. Even if you choose no sauce for "Momi-Dare," there is a high possibility that other "Momi-Dare" will adhere to the hormone or meat when they are measured with tongs or by hand. If you have a food allergy constitution that reacts to small amounts, it is difficult to eat those menus in the restaurant. There is a particularly high possibility that ingredients from other "Momi-Dare" will adhere to the "Choice of Momi-Dare(Kneading Sauce) for Hormone: Soy Sauce" and "Choice of Momi-Dare(Kneading Sauce) for Throat cartilage and Kari-Kari: Salt".
・In February 2020, they began taking action against the Covid-19, including temperature checks and wearing masks, in order to make it possible for families to visit the store together. In July 2020, the store was remodeled and all chairs and tables were changed to antibacterial and antiviral specifications.
・They want people to enjoy their meals and time at Tsubo Horumon san regardless of whether they have food allergies or not. Meanwhile, for those of us who are concerned, if we can consult with the restaurant with good manners and moderation, we will be able to encounter a new "delicious and enjoyable" future through such communication.

When a certain amount of food is collected, it is washed by hand. ・We can accommodate requests for utensil washing based on allergy reports, depending on the time of day. Please be sure to consult with us in advance by phone. If you do not contact us in advance, we will not be able to respond to your request. (If we can confirm your request through an appointment, we will be able to pass it on to the shift supervisor on the day of your visit.) ・The owner handles the meat, and the other items are handled by the employees. SmileMenu allows you to choose the meat sauce you would like to order, and the allergens in the meat sauce will be confirmed and handled by the owner. ・We have been in business for seven years, but we have only had a few food allergy reports, so we are not used to dealing with them.
