・ We offer a selection of delicious rice from a professional perspective and aspect of supporting sustainable agriculture.
・ In addition to chiffon cake, we have foods that are close to nature, such as salt, red beans, and okaki.
・ We offer many kinds of premium rice such as "Takashima Creature Rice Field Rice" with not using chemical pesticides and/or fertilizers throughout the cultivation period in the traditional rich countryside of Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, and "Sugisantan" with participating in the process of rice planting and harvesting by ourselves, and so on.
We hope to preserve the original landscape of Japanese rich rice field and undeveloped woodland "Satoyama" for children, and that children can eat rice made in the great natural circumstances
・ The chiffon cake made from the special rice flour selected by the rice shop is baked with feelings full of love at the store so that owner lady hopes children and the person concerned with food allergy will enjoy their treats, and hopes that every family/person will be able to cook such treats in their homes. The major allergens contained in the basic ingredients is only Eggs (Full Boiled), but since the flavor changes every month, the contained allergens will also change depending on the flavor of the month. Please check the allergen information at the store (it is recommended to check in advance by phone).
・On a specific day on Saturday, they will stand in front ot the store and open a mini market, and talk with people walking in the Ultraman shopping street about the natural environment where rice grows and the feelings of the rice producers.
・ The owner lady brightly said "Don't you think that you have to buy something when you enter the rice store? Not at all! , so feel free to come in and get excited and be interested in this rice!". When you know where from rice, who makes with what kind of thoghts, and what feelings this rice store has and delivers rice to you, not only from the perspective of deliciousness, your recognition about rice may change.
・ From lectures on how to polish rice (the degree and tastes by polishing rice from brown rice to white rice) to the types of rice, you can experience the deep, interesting "Rice World" and you can meet your own deliciousness for rice. Please enjoy the conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Kojima.
・ There is a study that rice allergies are less likely to occur in "Sasanishiki-based rice" than in "Koshihikari-based rice". At the shore, varieties of Sasanishiki are available, and for those with rice allergies, twice full polishing (repeated 100% polishing) to remove embryo bud (deep polishing rice). If you have any problems, please feel free to consult with owners.

・ Since only one type of chiffon cake is manufactured in the kitchn at a time, no other ingredients wll be contaminated. All the ingredients are comprehended because cakes are cooked by themselves in the store. ・ The flavor (seasoning) of chiffon cake may change on a monthly basis, so if there are allergens not listed in the SmileMenu, Ogura rice shop will inform you at the store. Chiffon cakes are limited in quantity, so it is recommended that you call to check for additional allergens before coming to the store. |
